# GaugeZone

Exported by `@workspace/active-charts`. Generated from the package source; part of [the index of every export](/packages/active-charts/all-exports).

## Types

**GaugeZone**

```ts
interface GaugeZone {
  from: number;
  to: number;
  color: string;
  label?: string;
}
```

Color zone for gauge-style charts. Shared by {@link GaugeChart} and
{@link LinearGauge} — both map a numeric `value` onto a range with
optional semantic threshold bands (typically green / yellow / red).

Each zone covers `[from, to]` inclusive on the same axis as the
gauge's `min`..`max`. Zones are not palette-driven; `color` is set
explicitly per zone so consumers can convey threshold semantics
(e.g. `var(--chart-negative)` for out-of-bounds). Use the
visualisation family (`--chart-*`), not the semantic UI colours of
`active-ui`.
